Why can’t women get the same opportunities in the building trades as men? To advertise new
grants for women miniorities interested in apprentice programs for occupations such as a carpenter,
plumber or welder we created the “Girls want to have fun, too” campaign. This was met with an overflow
of applications and increased awareness for this innovative Hudson County educational program.
